Platform expands product offering with launch of Mainstream proposition pilot

Platform, the intermediary lender of Britannia, has announced today it is launching into the mainstream mortgage arena.

From Monday 1 December, Platform will begin an exclusive three month ‘launch and learn’ pilot with leading broker network Thinc, with a view to a full market rollout in March 2009.

Platform responds to customer feedback with online-only application process

Platform, the intermediary lender of Britannia has announced today that from Friday 1 August 2008, all new mortgage applications must be submitted online.

Responding to feedback received direct from its business partners, the move will help to both significantly reduce the administrative burden on the broker and have the potential to drive down completion times by days. The decision will mean that a broader group of customers will now be able to take advantage of Platform’s award winning ‘click’ suite of online facilities, providing a faster and more secure process from application through to completion as well as enabling a more consistent customer experience.
