Platform celebrates second anniversary with a record year
for completions
- Lending figures represent a 72% increase on 2003
Platform, the “one-stop” intermediary lender of the
Britannia Building Society, ended 2004 on a record high recording
its best ever completion figures.
The all status lender, which celebrated its second anniversary
this month, saw its figures soar from £1.47bn in 2003 to £2.54bn in
2004, an astounding increase of 72% across the whole of Platform’s
‘one’ product range. The figures are even more impressive since
2002 as completion figures are up by 302% from £633m.
Guy Batchelor, Sales & Marketing Director commented:
“2004 was a really challenging year for us, not only down to the
increased levels of new business activity but particularly with the
work required for moving into a regulated market place. With
outstanding figures like these this makes all the hard work even
more rewarding and is testament to all the long hours and effort
that our staff have put in to ensure our continued
success.”
“We are now looking forward to the year ahead, which will prove
to be an exciting one for Platform. We have a number of major
projects underway at present including the launch of a new product
range which will be happening in a few days and the launch of an
online Decision in Principle in the summer.”
