Guy Batchelor to leave Platform
Platform, the intermediary lender of Britannia,
announces today that its Sales and Marketing Director, Guy
Batchelor, will be leaving the company.
Following a successful career spanning nine years at Platform,
Guy will be taking up a new role with Lehman Brothers in the New
Year.
David Tweedy, Platform’s Managing Director, said:
"Since Britannia purchased Platform in 2001, the growth and success
achieved has been outstanding and has placed us at the forefront of
the intermediary specialist mortgage market. The launch of
initiatives such as clickdecision and clickapplication and a
consistent and strong product offering have contributed to an
impressive growth in sales and market position, and generated a
host of industry accolades and awards.
“Platform holds a pivotal position within the specialist
mortgage sector and we have a number of exciting initiatives
planned for the remainder of 2006 and beyond, that will further
enhance our aim to become the intermediaries favourite
lender. I look forward to continuing to develop and drive the
growth of Platform over the coming months and years. I sincerely
wish Guy all the very best with his career and personally would
like to thank him for the contribution he has made to
Platform.”
An interim Sales & Marketing Director will be appointed
until a permanent successor can be found. Guy will retain his role
with IMLA, but will no longer act as a spokesperson for them.
