Platform appoints new Head of Ecommerce
Platform, the intermediary lender of Britannia, is
pleased to announce the appointment of Sean McDonnell to the post
of Head of Ecommerce.
Sean will take responsibility for developing and delivering
Platform’s Ecommerce strategy and drive activity to enhance
Platform’s online proposition.
Sean joins Platform after four years as Head of Web Strategy
with NEC Europe, one of the world's leading providers of Internet,
broadband network and enterprise business solutions. Prior to this
Sean held senior Ecommerce posts with pan-European healthcare
start-up Nutravida.com and more recently with Andersen Business
Consulting.
Sean will replace Platform’s current Head of Ecommerce Jim
Hunter who leaves the company after two years to study for a
Masters degree in Business Psychology with a view to practicing
business consultancy in the future.
Commenting on the appointment, David Tweedy, Platform’s Managing

role that Ecommerce plays in the current marketplace. We are
