Platform continues sales expansion with new BDM
appointment
Platform, the intermediary lender of Britannia, is
pleased to announce the appointment of Lawrence Farrall to the role
of Business Development Manager within the company’s Sales
Department.
Reporting directly into Platform’s Regional Manager for the
North of England, Richard Daibell, Lawrence will manage operations
in the North West of England and is responsible for identifying and
developing relationships with intermediaries to facilitate long
term business opportunities for the company and grow business
volume.
Lawrence brings to Platform nearly twenty years of sales
experience gained in the mortgage and insurance industries
including nearly three years as an IFA with Bradford & Bingley.
For the past four years, Lawrence was Business Development Manager
with Bristol & West, tasked with identifying and developing
relationships with key accounts.
Commenting on the appointment Richard Beardshaw, Platform’s Head
of Sales said: “We are delighted to welcome Lawrence to Platform.
His strong management skills and detailed knowledge of the market
gained from both a BDM and IFA perspective will be invaluable in
this important sales post. Already this year we have announced the
appointment of 11 new BDMs to provide a greater level of service to
intermediaries by offering more regional and dedicated points of
contact. Lawrence is a welcome addition to the company as we
continue to further bolster our sales proposition.”
