Platform reduces buy to let rates by up to 0.35 percentage points

 

Platform, the intermediary lender of The Co-operative Bank, has reduced rates across its Buy to Let mortgage range.

 

Changes to the rates of the entire Buy to Let range are now available and include reductions to a five year fixed rate Buy to Let mortgage of 0.35 percentage points at 65 per cent LTV and three and five year fixed rate mortgages across a range of LTVs being reduced by up to 0.30 percentage points.

 

All Platform Buy to Let mortgages across all LTV brackets, are being reduced from today by at least 0.10 percentage points.

 

Stuart Beattie, Head of Mortgages at Platform, said: “We have reviewed the rates offered across our suite of Buy to Let mortgages to offer more competitive prices to our brokers looking for the right mortgage for their clients."

 

“As there is a considerable amount of change taking place in the Buy to Let market which will inevitably cost many landlords more, the lowest cost mortgage option could be a key consideration for those looking to remortgage or take out a product for the first time.”

 

Buy to let rates reduced by 0.10 per cent:

  • 2 year fixed rate now 2.29 per cent at 60 per cent LTV with a £0 fee
  • 3 year fixed rate now 2.79 per cent at 75 per cent LTV with a £1,999 fee
  • 3 year fixed rate now 2.94 per cent at 75 per cent LTV with a £999 fee
  • 3 year fixed rate now 2.79 per cent at 60 per cent LTV with a £0 fee

 

Buy to let rates reduced by 0.15 per cent:

  • 2 year fixed rate now 1.59 per cent at 60 per cent LTV with a £1,999 fee
  • 2 year fixed rate now 1.79 per cent at 60 per cent LTV with a £999 fee
  • 2 year fixed rate now 1.94 per cent at 65 per cent LTV with a £1,999 fee
  • 2 year fixed rate now 2.14 per cent at 65 per cent LTV with a £999 fee
  • 2 year fixed rate now 1.99 per cent at 70 per cent LTV with a £1,999 fee
  • 2 year fixed rate now 2.19 per cent at 70 per cent LTV with a £999 fee
  • 2 year tracker rate now 1.49 per cent at 60 per cent LTV with a £1,999 fee
  • 2 year tracker rate now 1.69 per cent at 60 per cent LTV with a £999 fee
  • 2 year tracker rate now 1.84 per cent at 65 per cent LTV with a £1,999 fee
  • 2 year tracker rate now 2.04 per cent at 65 per cent LTV with a £999 fee
  • 2 year tracker rate now 1.89 per cent at 70 per cent LTV with a £1,999 fee
  • 2 year tracker rate now 2.09 per cent at 70 per cent LTV with a £999 fee

 

Buy to let rates reduced by 0.20 per cent:

  • 2 year fixed rate now 2.04 per cent at 75 per cent LTV with a £1,999 fee
  • 2 year fixed rate now 2.24 per cent at 75 per cent LTV with a £999 fee
  • 2 year fixed rate now 2.54 per cent at 65 per cent LTV with a £0 fee
  • 2 year fixed rate now 2.59 per cent at 70 per cent LTV with a £0 fee
  • 3 year fixed rate now 2.14 per cent at 60 per cent LTV with a £1,999 fee
  • 3 year fixed rate now 2.29 per cent at 60 per cent LTV with a £999 fee
  • 3 year fixed rate now 2.39 per cent at 65 per cent LTV with a £1,999 fee
  • 3 year fixed rate now 2.54 per cent at 65 per cent LTV with a £999 fee
  • 3 year fixed rate now 2.94 per cent at 65 per cent LTV with a £0 fee
  • 3 year fixed rate now 2.59 per cent at 70 per cent LTV with a £1,999 fee
  • 3 year fixed rate now 2.74 per cent at 70 per cent LTV with a £999 fee
  • 5 year fixed rate now 2.89 per cent at 60 per cent LTV with a £0 fee
  • 5 year fixed rate now 3.19 per cent at 70 per cent LTV with a £0 fee
  • 5 year fixed rate now 3.14 per cent at 75 per cent LTV with a £999 fee
  • 2 year tracker rate now 1.94 per cent at 75 per cent LTV with a £1,999 fee
  • 2 year tracker rate now 2.14 per cent at 75 per cent LTV with a £999 fee

 

Buy to let rates reduced by 0.25 per cent:

  • 2 year fixed rate now 2.64 per cent at 75 per cent LTV with a £0 fee
  • 5 year fixed rate now 2.99 per cent at 75 per cent LTV with a £1,999 fee
  • 5 year fixed rate now 2.64 per cent at 60 per cent LTV with a £999 fee
  • 5 year fixed rate now 2.94 per cent at 70 per cent LTV with a £999 fee
  • 5 year fixed rate now 3.29 per cent at 75 per cent LTV with a £0 fee

 

Buy to let rates reduced by 0.30 per cent:

  • 3 year fixed rate now 3.04 per cent at 70 per cent LTV with a £0 fee
  • 3 year fixed rate now 3.14 per cent at 75 per cent LTV with a £0 fee
  • 5 year fixed rate now 2.49 per cent at 60 per cent LTV with a £1,999 fee
  • 5 year fixed rate now 2.79 per cent at 70 per cent LTV with a £1,999 fee
  • 5 year fixed rate now 2.79 per cent at 65 per cent LTV with a £999 fee
  • 5 year fixed rate now 2.99 per cent at 65 per cent LTV with a £0 fee

 

Buy to let rates reduced by 0.35 per cent:

  • 5 year fixed rate now 2.64 per cent at 65 per cent LTV with a £1,999 fee

 

All rates come with free legals for remortgagers. A cashback of £250 or £500 is also available on selected rates. Maximum loan value is £350,000.

 

Platform also offers mainstream mortgages from 60 per cent to 90 per cent LTV across a range of fee options for 2, 3 and 5 year fixed, and 2 year tracker mortgages. Some of the mainstream mortgages have also been reduced with rates being lowered by 0.01 – 0.15 percentage points.
